5 Reasons You Should Get Uncorked in North Carolina!

An Uncorked Tour will make the town that’s brand new to you feel familiar or make the town that’s familiar to you feel brand new!

I’ll admit that I typically feel a lot more drawn to a long, quiet hike in an area less traveled than to city life. However, I do love exploring new places with good vibes, and Lexington, North Carolina has some of the best. It’s a small town surrounded by some of the country’s best vineyards. And what better way to experience the area than a boujiee, boozy bus!? We spent a weekend touring Lexington with Uncorked Touring Company, and here’s what made it the best time!

  1. It’s fun!

I mean this probably goes without saying, but it really was a great time! You just need a fun group of people and the atmosphere of the bus and tour does the rest. The bus was comfortable and set up (and insured) to continue the fun in between stops. I really think the best part of the tour was cutting up and laughing on the bus because I could let loose and not worry about what Ethan calls my “cackle radius” in public.

2. It’s safe!

Let’s be serious for a second. Drinking and driving is not cool. The tour allowed everyone to drink responsibly and have a safe and super comfortable ride around Lexington. They even work with several hotels in the area to ensure a safe ride all the way “home.”

3. It’s inclusive!

Wine isn’t your thing? In addition to the tours to different vineyards in the area, they also offered a “boozy field trip” which included stops at a cider brewery, vineyard of our choice, a local brewery, and a whiskey and cigar bar.

After our tour, they offered suggestions on other places to visit, eat, and explore during our stay that support local businesses in the area.

4. It’s easy and relaxing!

I’ve been on other wine tours and a “party bus” or two, but Uncorked really felt different. The places we visited were beautiful, classy, and relaxing. Don’t get me wrong, we drank plenty, but it never felt unhinged. I think this speaks to the owners which I’ll talk more about below. They aren’t your babysitters, but they genuinely care about people and want everyone to have a great time.

5. The owners are the best!

I’ll admit that I’m a little bias on this point as I have known the owners for years, but I’ve seen the way the treat family, friends, and strangers. And it’s always with enthusiasm, kindness, and respect. They know how to have a great time, and they are just genuine people that are fun to be around…even sober! They love Lexington and the community they serve. They make friends everywhere they go, and it shows in their business. The reason an Uncorked Tour is superior to others is not just the fabulous bus but the amazing people behind the scenes!

Check out the Uncorked Touring Company Commercial below!

Ethan couldn’t stand to JUST have a great time while we were visiting. He decided to produce, shoot, and edit a commercial for Uncorked Touring Company in 48 hours. Did I mention we live in Texas and just flew down for the weekend? When we believe in something, we go full force!
