Yosemite Firefall 2023
This phenomena is caused by the sun aligning with Horsetail Falls in Yosemite.
This only happens around the last 2 weeks of February every year, so we’ve been looking forward to this one for a while. There are a lot of other conditions that have to factor in to make this possible.
On this day, it was cloudy most of the time until the final 2 minutes of the sunset. Thankfully, we stayed and got to experience this once in a lifetime moment.
